Effects of Formulation Components on Properties

1. Viscosity: Finer sized filler produced higher viscosity than coarser sized filler.

2. Tensile Strength: The tensile strength can be increased by:

a.   Increasing the ratio of dry premix to aqueous phase;

b.   Increasing the concentration of the cement component.

3. Elongation:  The elongation can be increased by:

      a.   reducing the ratio of dry premix to aqueous phase;

4. Water Proofing: increasing the amount of NALSTANEÒ  M  will impart better waterproofing to the membrane.
